About the brand
Myungrang Hotdog is a Korean corn-dog franchise operated by the Myungrangsidae food-service youth cooperative, founded in Busan in July 2016. Known for made-to-order rice-flour corn dogs with cheese and other fillings, the brand surpassed 1,000 Korean stores by September 2018 and operated about 550 domestic and 40 overseas locations as of early 2024. It has expanded to seven countries including the US, UK, Japan and Cambodia, and in 2024 shifted its US business from master franchising to direct headquarters investment.
2024 pivot from US master-franchise (Myungrang America LLC subfranchising, CA DFPI-registered since 2020) to direct HQ investment; 14 US stores across Atlanta/CA/AZ/NV/Saipan
