About the brand
Mega MGC Coffee is a South Korean value-priced coffee franchise founded in 2015 and operated by MGC Global (formerly Ann House). It is Korea's largest coffee chain by store count, with 4,391 stores as of July 2026, nearly all franchisee-owned takeout-focused compact cafes. The brand charges a fixed monthly royalty rather than a percentage of sales. It opened its first overseas store in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in May 2024 through a master franchise agreement and has signed a Cambodian master franchise partner, with entries into Japan and other markets under review.
Mongolia MFA with Asia Pharma (first store Ulaanbaatar May 2024, 8 stores by Mar 2026); Cambodia master franchise signed 2025, ~5 stores targeted for 2026
